MENTOR REFUGEES THROUGH FRUITFUL FRIENDSHIP PROGRAM
Some of Charlotte’s newest community members are from Nepal, Bhutan, Burma, Eritrea and more! Refugee Support Services invites you to come meet these neighbors as weekly mentors in the Fruitful Friendship Program. Help refugees learn English and gain a better understanding of our American culture. Friends meet on their own schedule! Volunteers are also needed at our Spring Fling on April 30, to serve food, help with childcare and play soccer! Additionally, do you have a pickup truck? Use your truck to deliver vegetables once a month from a local farm and the NC Gleaners to our Refugee Help Center. Refugee Support Services is supported by our Jubilee Plus! fund with 100% of donations going to outreach in our community and world. Learn more about Jubilee Plus!
