Welcome the Legal Asylum-Seekers

Sign up to greet on the various Sunday and Monday evenings listed on link provided

Interested in helping welcome our brothers and sisters seeking legal asylum by offering love through food, beverages and travel activities at Charlotte’s Greyhound bus station? Many of the travelers have a long bus ride as they continue on to various locations in the USA.  CLICK HERE to signup to help or to learn more details.

Another way to help is to donate items listed below. Bring to Nancy Holmes in the Missions office (room 117):

  • Baby items: diapers (all sizes), baby wipes (small packages) and baby squeezable fruit pouches.
  • Snacks in small individual sizes: cereal boxes, juices boxes, granola bars, cheese or peanut butter crackers.
  • Children’s toys: small portable toys like dolls/balls, coloring/activity books, crayons in small packs of 5
