Thoughts from Rev. Nathan Arledge: We strive to live into the commandment found in Leviticus 19:34, “The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.” As we live into being hospitable neighbors we not only fulfill this commandment but also what Christ says, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Come with us on this life changing experience.
