Health Ministries Equipment Closet: Wheelchairs, walkers and other medical equipment are available to loan to those having a need for the equipment. Contact Lauren Smith, Parish Nurse at 704-295-4836 or LSmith@mpumc.org.
Bloodmobile is held in the Youth Building Gym at 7:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. at MPUMC twice a year. Consider donating blood – the Gift of Life. Volunteer for the Blood Drive Signups – Contact Robert Lutz at Robert_lutz@att.net.

Functional Fitness Class for those over age 60:
Functional Fitness for Active Aging: Enjoy a 60-minute workout tailored specifically to the needs of older adults! This group exercise class is designed and led by a licensed, physical therapist and will show you how to exercise safely and to gain maximum benefit. It is suited for everyone regardless of your current fitness level. The focus is on:
• Strengthen lower body & core muscles (protect your back!)
• Decreasing joint pain & stiffness
• Increasing back flexibility & mobility
• Improving posture (undo bad habits!)
• Balance training
• Understanding the brain-body connection
Cost: $6 per class; first class is FREE!

Class Times: 10:30-11:30
Cardio Sculpting – Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. in the Fitness Room of the Youth Building. Instructor Sara Novajosky leads this group in a cardio workout to get your morning off to a good start! Cost $50.00 for 8 classes.
Start your week off with Yoga and Prayer on Monday mornings at 9:15 a.m. beginning September 9, on the Labyrinth in Francis Chapel.
