Senior Adults

Adults Plus!

Adults Plus provides a monthly program plus a lunch where everyone can find a place
to Grow Deeper in relationship with God and in community with others.

Adults Plus is a ministry now over thirty years old whose intent was to be a caring Christian community which enriches the lives of adults 55 and over. Initially designed to provide daytime programming for adults who were transitioning into retirement, the ministry has seen ups and downs but currently enjoys a revitalization of attendance and purpose. At one time considered the group for the 70’s and over bunch – as a group created for those in their late 50’s thirty years ago would now be – today we are seeing men and women of broad ages interested and attending these diverse programs. The opportunity for mixing of the generations is just another layer to the lasting success of this ministry which has always provided fellowship; entertaining, enriching and educational programming; as well as modeling support and encouragement for the other ministries of the church.

Join us on third Wednesdays for a program at 10:30 in room 103 – unless otherwise noted, followed by lunch in Jubilee Hall. All are welcome and lunch reservations are requested by noon on Tuesday, the day before each program at or option 2 at 704-376-5520.
